Christine Romero

Biography

Christine Romero is a Pre-Analytical Services Manager at St Vincent’s Pathology. She has been working for almost 35 years in pathology in the pre-analytical area, starting her career as a nurse. In 1989, Christine started in pathology as a collector with Melbourne Pathology, working as an area supervisor and a home visiting supervisor over the years before transitioning into the laboratory at ‘Centre Bench’, which is a troubleshooting area of practice in pathology. Her background in pre-analytical pathology services also includes clinical experience in the collection department and Central Specimen Reception (CSR).
